Please join us for an Open House/Garage Sale on Saturday, May 11th 12pm–4pm. Do you have some old fitness gear you want to get rid of? Bring it on it and all proceeds will go to help support the Verve team traveling to Regionals in Utah at the end of May. Items must be outdoor/fitness related and everything left after 4pm will be donated to GoodWill. 
Do you have a business or side-job you would like to share with the Verve community? Vendors may set-up a table to share with our community for the afternoon for a $10 donation.

CrossFit Kids Seminar

May 25th & 26th  $1,000  9a.m. – 5p.m. 

The CrossFit Kids Course is an interactive weekend on the specifics of teaching CrossFit to kids and teens. Learn child-specific cues for foundational CrossFit movements, scaling, progressions and drills.  The course will also cover, Neurological Development as it relates to exercise and kids, weightlifting and kids, health & safety, programming, teaching styles, how to structure a Kids class, CrossFit Kids Games. You will also learn techniques and methods to overcome the unique challenges presented when teaching the CrossFit methodology to kids, and programming concepts for affiliates, teachers, coaches, and others.

CrossFit Level I Seminar

level 1 CrossFit Level I Seminar
July 6th and 7th   9a.m. – 5:30p.m.

The Level 1 Trainer Course is an introductory course on CrossFit’s methodology, concepts, and movements. . The course includes classroom instruction on: CrossFit’s conceptual framework, CrossFit’s foundational movements, programming to optimize training results, and nutrition strategies to support fitness. 

Hands on small group training sessions include instruction on CrossFit’s foundational movements under low intensity with a focus on improving technique. Students will have their movement observed and corrected, and engage in dialogue concerning effective correction techniques.

Large, group CrossFit workouts are conducted as an example of bringing it all together; establishing an example of how to conduct a class and how to hold a standard of proper technique under high intensity and scaling for any ability level. 

The purpose of the course is to provide students with an introductory level education on the fundamental principles and movements that make up the CrossFit Program. 

 

Olympic Lifting Seminar

February 22-23rd, 2014  $595  9a.m – 5p.m.

Spend two full days with CrossFit Olympic Weighlifting Seminar Staff learning, studying and practicing the Olympic lifts. The snatch and clean and jerk bring speed, power, coordination, agility, accuracy and balance to your strength training. These lifts are indispensable to CrossFit programming and expert coaching is a powerful advantage.
