Can't believe I'm saying this...but, I wish I COULD run. bummer. Cherie, this chili sounds really good. Thanks! I just made some spicy pumpkin Paleo soup (great for a cold).
Time: 20 minutes
*1 jalapeno, chopped
*1 Tbsp olive oil
*4 C chicken broth
*1 can (15oz)canned pumpkin
*2 Tbsp lime juice
*2 Tbsp chopped cilantro
*1 Tbsp unsweetened applesauce

Saute the jalapeno in olive oil for one minute. Stir in the broth and pumpkin, then bring to a boil. Reduce heat, add lime juice and cilantro. Simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in applesauce before serving.

Zone blocks: 3 servings at 2.3 blocks carb, 3 blocks fat.

Seriously, good for a cold. Has a little kick to it. Light soup, not heavy pumpkin cream soup.

Fish oil is on sale at sunflower.
