So we'll be holding WOD's as usual all day long today, but tonight we'll be taking a field trip.  We'd love to have a huge group go down to 5280, even if it is just to hang out with a bunch of CrossFitters.  Bring your wife or hubby to meet the clan.  We'll be leaving Altitude Peak Fitness around 6pm, so show up then.  We will arrange a carpool and there will be designated drivers, even if we have to draw straws.

The event is twofold.  First and foremost its all about fun with other CrossFitters.  We are going to join 5280 for their "Century WOD" which is 1 shot of beer every minute for 100 minutes AND 1 pull-up every minute for 100 minutes.  Second, Craig will be collecting donations for St. Baldricks, which is an organization that raises money for children with cancer.  It funds research and assistance for the kids and is a noble cause that worth a donation. 

The beers are on Craig, but will most likely not be Zone friendly.  Anthony and Matt are all going to attempt a Zone, Beer, Pull-up trifecta of pleasure.  We're going with America's finest low carb beer (?) – Michelob Ultra, almonds, and jerky.  Let's see how long that lasts.  Hope everyone joins us!

    I just cannot say enough great things about crossfit. It always amazes me how hard one can be pushed to excel. I personally have had fantastic results and don’t ever see myself going to another 24 hour fitness gym. I feel like I need to share this secret with everyone.
    I have heard through conversations of non CF’ers, that they are afraid of getting hurt and have heard it is dangerous. I have a hard time responding and not getting offended. I feel so passionate about the life. Matt I agree with you, many do not want to pay the price, but I remind them it is personal training all the time.
    Mas I also agree with you. I am so thankful my honey told me about crossfit. I love that he is staying in such great shape, since obviuosly being a FF is not the healthiest lifestyle.
