Emmalee, muscle-up queen.

CFV Mountain Sectional Athlete Profile: Emmalee Moore

Emmalee started with Verve when we were working out in Commons Park over a year ago.  She has competed in several crossfit competitions, including last years regionals.  Emmalee has a background in gymnastics and just recently got her Level1.

WOD results:

Row/Swing/Run 15:22 Rx 37th place
Snatch/Muscle-up 100#, 38 MU (the most of any female), 1st place
Squat clean/pull-up/box jumps 4.22 rounds Rx 6th place

Emmalee finished in the top 30, landing 7th place overall with a total of 44 points and is qualified to compete in the CrossFit Regional Games this May.

    So I was looking at the site for the WOD when I heare behind me, “That girl is bad ass!” I turned to find two of the guys from the station looking over my shoulder at the screen. I had the pleasure of telling them that yeah she is bad ass and rely cool too. Way to represent out there. 🙂

    On a side note, I want to do this race. Naturally, its pretty intense. Basically its a 14.5 mile trek up Mt. Evans and it looks like a blast. Here is the link to the event:
    Its on June 19. As of now, I am in a single man wolf pack. I would be honored if anyone would like to join my wolf pack…
    PS I will be running the race in a jock strap.
