Alright well the week is finally here. Not only does the CrossFit Open start on Thursday, but we are finally moving into our new home.
As we discussed in Saturday’s blog, Wednesday is the first moving day. We will have the early classes, 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 am, and then we are shutting it down for the rest of the day. We will have a moving truck and we will begin moving as much equipment as possible. There are no more classes that day. No open gym hours, no can I just come in and row in the corner sessions, nothing. We are hoping to have our first classes in the new space on Thursday. Stay tuned to the blog for more information about the schedule as we may need to make adjustments.
If you can help on Wednesday, then please feel free to come by. You’ll get a chance to see the new space and given it’s going to be mostly grunt work moving the equipment, we could use all the help we can get. We will start moving equipment around 10 am and will continue for the entirety of the day so if you have a few spare hours then come on by.

Friday is the first open workout and we will be using the open workout as our workout of the day. If this is your first time at Verve during the open, you’re in for a treat with all the energy. We typically run the workouts in heats so each person has a judge. Even if you’re not signed up for the open, and there is no reason you shouldn’t be Blake, you will still have a judge. The best part of having a judge is that you don’t have to count, the judge does that for you!
