What's worse than losing to your sister?  Living in another state so you don't have the opportunity to redeem yourself.  I kid, I kid.  Competition is rampant around CrossFit gyms across the country, as well as on the message boards.  I'll admit it, I check the main site from time to time to see where I sit amongst the pack.  It's a good thing I suppose, but what's more important is to compete with yourself.  PR (personal record) every day!  Push  yourself to new limits every day.  On the days when you just don't have it, brush your shoulders off and realize that everyone has bad days or bad movements.  Learn from those days.  Walk away with the thought that although I wasn't at top form today – I am still stronger than yesterday because of it.

    Oh many things to say… where to start…
    First with the words of wisdom above: I don’t think any of us are competitive. Cherie and I proved this when we had our competition to prove that we weren’t competitive.
    Regarding the WOD: aren’t we missing two reps?
    Also regarding the WOD: I’m way excited!

    No worries Dan, its our pleasure making the vids. We especially like catching people having fun in the gym.
    Tomorrow’s WOD is 5 x 1RM. Warm up to a starting weight, aim for your last 1RM by the 3rd attempt, and if you get it – push a little harder for the last two attempts.
    Go and get it guys! This one goes down as your max deadlift – see what you are capable of lifting!

    For the record, Luke is an ANIMAL as well. Sweet Jesus.. the handstand pushups (“cookie), he rocked through. Talk about Motivation.
    Thank God I figured out I can eat more… woohoo for energy at CF. ha!
