The swimming WOD today is going to be a blast.  What a way to get out of the gym, get some sun, and do a CrossFit WOD all at the same time.  There are a couple of items we'd like to mention beforehand.

First, we are assuming that everyone that doing the WOD is able to swim.  If you sink like a stone, or are afraid of the water, we'd be glad to work with you one on one, but today will not be the time or place for this.  However, this does not mean that you need to be an expert swimmer by any means.  If you are able to swim freestyle for 25 yards without stopping, you will do just fine.

Second, we will be in the water for around 45 minutes working on skills and drills and doing a workout.  During this time your eyes may get a bit irritated by the chlorine and sunlight, so tinted goggles are advised, but not requiredAs for a suit, wear what you have.  If you only have board shorts (Zac) or a bikini (Cherie), don't fret – you won't be alone.

Third, let's have some fun!  Today is a great opportunity to pick up some new technique or refine existing technique.  If we have time… we'll add a cookie: "sharks and minnows".
