Shultz squared ready for takeoff!

A few updates concerning upcoming happenings and schedule changes at Verve.  The CrossFit Open starts next week with the first workout being announced on Wednesday evening.  As a gym we will be performing the open workouts on Thursday’s.  All classes will be performing the Open workout.  We will still offer Hot Dogs and Cupcakes on Thursday’s but the WOD and Skillz classes will be performing the open workouts.  Obviously we will provide scales and modifications.  Make sure when you sign up for the Open that you select Crossfit Verve as your team and affiliate.  We will also give you the opportunity to do the Open WOD on Sunday’s at noon.  

Next week we are starting to offer open gym everyday from 3 pm to 4 pm.  We ask that you show up as close to 3:00 pm as you can.  We will still have open gym on Mon and Weds evening from 8:00 – 9:00 PM as well as Saturday at 12:00 PM.  Trainers will be around so please ask us if you need help with anything.  

Mom’s class will be Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Friday at 9:00 am.  

There is a new Sunday WOD at 11:00 AM.  For all the athletes that prefer to sleep in a little later on Sunday, this is for you.  

Olympic Lifting class is now offered 5 times a week.  Monday at 5:30 AM, Weds from 4:00 – 5:00 and 5:00 to 6:00, and Friday at 5:30 am and 10:00 am.   Come get your “swole” on as the great Luke Palmisano would say.    

That brings our total to 85 hours a week of classes and open gym time.

For this upcoming weekend we will have Swim WODs at Glenarm Rec. Center, sign up on MBO.  On Sunday we will have one WOD at Verve at 7am.  We will also have the Endurance Run on Sunday as well.

    Will there be an option to do the open Wod on Sunday as well?

      Yes, we fixed the blog to reflect that we will also offer you all the opportunity to do the Open WODs on Sundays at 12noon. As always, if any athletes have some special schedule requirements/changes, we will also do our best to accommodate other days/times.

    Hey all anyone pick up a red Rogue jump rope during the beginning of the 7:00 pm WOD (maybe 6 o’clock ears too). I ended up with a MUCH longer one that’s slightly different. Let me know I’m gonna guess the one you have now is kinda short for you. :).
