Mas and Keith getting their rope climbs on.

Over the course of the holidays thus far might I guess at some point you attended some sort of holiday party. Let me also guess that while at this party you felt somewhat empty, like something was missing. That something was quite possible bacon. Yeah, I know how you feel. A holiday party isn’t a holiday party without bacon. Heck, a party isn’t a party without bacon. Well folks don’t despair, you still have New Year’s to make it right. And what I have here for you is an amazing recipe for some bacon wrapped dates. It’s quick, simple, and involves bacon. You’re welcome.

1) Preheat the oven to 400 (or 350 of you’ve got something else cooking at 350, no big deal).
2) Take store bought, smaller, pitted dates, stuff one almond in them.
3)Wrap the almond stuffed date in a half a piece of bacon.
4) Stick in a toothpick through bacon wrapped date to keep it securely wrapped.
5) Bake for approximately 15 minutes (check on them at around 10 minutes and turn over if bottom is browning). You make bake longer then 15 minutes, the level of bacon crispiness will be based on personal needs. :)
6) Consume merrily.
*If you want to zone them, use a whole piece of bacon- 3 BWD=1 block of P,F,C. But they won’t caramelize the same way.

Delicious on a stick. A.K.A. bacon wrapped date.

No party is complete without them. Literally.
