Ryan and Stef aren't waiting for anything, to get to kettlebell swinging.

What are you waiting for?  Are you waiting for after the holidays to dial in your nutrition?  Are you waiting for after the weekend is over to cut back on the alcohol?  Are you waiting for work to "slow down" to get your workouts in more regularly?  Are you waiting for the perfect notebook and rad, multi-colored pen to start logging your workouts?  Are you waiting till you are "better" at a movement before signing up for a local competition?

Well, stop waiting and get to it!  Nothing ever stays the same, so sometimes you just have to settle in, set your mind to it and get after it!  Otherwise it becomes a constant losing battle, and sometimes never happens.  Great changes can be made DESPITE circumstances.

Excuses will always get in the way if you let them, but "anything worth having, takes hard work."  I don't remember who said that, but I have to remind myself of that often lately.  When I haven't slept all night, when I only have limited time to work out, when I haven't had time to prep food as much as I used to…..when we're eating out and bombarded by poor food choices.

Today, I got cleared to work out…..6 weeks after the hardest workout of my life.  I got cleared to start my body back into the journey of elite fitness, of feeling good everyday and like I can accomplish anything in front of me.  Am I ready to dominate day to day–No!  But I am ready to consider every workout a small victory in itself, to begin measuring my food again, to push myself just a little further every day.  And I'll do it knowing that life will never fail to put some damn obstacle in the way of getting better, it's just up to me to find a way to get over it.  And sometimes we need a little help, so don't be afraid to ask.

The positive changes made in my life didn't come easily before, but they are oh-so-worth it, so it's time to start making them again–right now, no more waiting.
