Jeremy, Jim, James, Scotty, and Eric at the Front Range Masters Competition this past weekend.

This past weekend we had several athletes compete in the Front Range Masters Competition.  It was a wonderful two day competition and all our athletes did superbly.

Jeremy finished 25th in 35 – 39 age class, finishing as high as 13th in an individual workout and was super consistent throughout the weekend.

Jim finished 6th in the 50 – 54 age class.  He had two 3rd place finishes and finished in the top third for most of the workouts.

James finished 12th overall in the 40 – 44 age class and won the Row workout and had great overall showing in the other workouts.

Scotty came in 2nd place overall in the 40-44.  He had a 1st, 2nd, and 4th place finish.  He had a great Sunday and was able to secure himself a position on the podium by winning the last workout of the weekend.

Eric was also able to secure himself a place on the podium finishing 3rd overall in the Mens 55-59 age group.  He had 2 2nd place finishes and 2 3rd place finishes.  He finished in the top 4 on all but one of the workouts.

It was a tremendous showing by all our athletes.  Thanks to everyone that was able to make it out and support these guys.  If you’re interested in competing make sure you ask these guys how their experience was, what they learned, and what they think they could improve on.

Reminder that this Saturday is the Lift Up Luke Fundraiser.  Please sign up and donate HERE.  Please sign up through MBO as well.  Look forward to seeing everyone there.  After the event we will have our pumpkin carving adventure.  Bring your pumpkins and prepare to wow us with you carving and creativity.  Adult beverages provided.

  1. James (O.G.) :

I learned that I am nowhere near fit enough to beat the real athletes out there, but it’s still a boatload of fun to come and compete and watch Scotty destroy everyone.

No, but seriously, I learned that there is just a different level that you push yourself to when there are two hundred people watching you workout. No, seriously, they were watching ONLY me, because everyone else in my heat had finished, like, three minutes earlier.

  2. Leslie :

Great job guys! So much fun cheering you on 🙂

  3. Emily :

What a great experience it was! I am so proud of all the guys, especially my guy! Thanks to all who came out, I know it meant a great deal to the competitors. I cheered so vigorously, I literally made myself sick! Ha! It is great to watch competitions because it really makes you want to push yourself…the energy is palpable and contagious!

  4. Scotty :

James people weren’t only watching you but guys like me were listening to you lap us on the row every time that handle hit the cradle. Nice work and way to smoke everyone during the row!

  5. slaughter :

These dudes are my fucking heroes.

  6. Patrick :

    Well done Rock stars

  7. Luke :

U guys are awesome. Maybe I’ll be there with you next year.

  8. Jim D. :

Luke, I really hope so, I’d like that. I was just there for the beer. Don’t know why Scotty waited until the last WOD was over to open up the cooler.
