Boom!  Week 3 of the squat program and as you can see from the volume and percentages, things are about to get real.  Hopefully everyone’s legs have recovered from last week because we are starting to get into some heavy lifts. Can you say Gainz?  

You may have noticed from the updates in yesterday’s blog that we have a few events coming up in the next few weekends that will require us to change the schedule.  We understand that this isn’t ideal and can be frustrating at times because it throws your normal weekend routine off.  We get asked all the time to host seminars and other events and we turn quite a few down because we don’t want to interfere with your fitness.  These next few weekends will hopefully be the last for quite some time that we have to have an abridged schedule.  We will have early classes before whatever the seminar we are hosting is so we’ll still have a workout, even if it’s a little earlier than normal.  

This past Saturday we hosted the mile high sprints and held classes after the event ended.  We actually had a quite a good turnout so if you’re interested in us having classes later in the day rather than earlier in the day, please let us know.  Our members are always top priority and we will try to accommodate what works best for the majority.  

When we accept seminars we always take into consideration what’s in it for us and how can we pass whatever we receive over to you.  This weekend we were able to get a few of our members rowers for a discount. The TrainFTW seminar happening in 2 weeks has special pricing available only to Verve members.  If you’re looking for 2 full days of working out and learning make sure and email me for the discount codes. Remember all levels are welcome! 

When we host Level 1 Seminars, we give away all our free spots to our members that have expressed interest in attending or we work with some of our friends at other local gyms to trade a spot for access to their facility for you guys.  I’ve honestly lost count of how many members we’ve been able to send to their Level 1 over the years, but the list is quite extensive.  

I’ve heard from a few of you that the gym being closed over the weekends in an inconvenience, but we hope you understand that we try and limit the events we accept to host unless we see benefit in it that we can pass on to you guys.  That being said, if you’re interested in attending an upcoming Level 1 seminar make sure and check the blog for upcoming dates and find out about what’s involved to attend.
