Sunny skies, green grass, tumbling fun at the Sunday Park WOD…….missing it today?

An exciting event is happening the weekend of Nov 5/6, right here in Denver, Colorado, at the cozy confines of Front Range Crossfit.  This would be the Fall Harvest Open.  

The Fall Harvest Open is strictly an Olympic weightlifting meet, as athletes will be exhibiting their skills with the Clean and Jerk and the Snatch.  This a fun, low-pressure meet, which is also USAW-sanctioned.  Register to take part in it here.  You may be asking how a weightlifting meet may work.  

This Saturday, at Crossfit Verve, is your chance to find out.  The Saturday 11am WOD will be run like a weightlifting competition.  You will have the chance to show up, be guided through the competition, and coached to your own personal one rep max on both lifts.  IF you already know what your current one rep max is for the Clean and Jerk and/or Snatch, be sure to have that number readily in mind; it will affect your warm-up as well as the competition weights that are selected for you.  We look forward to seeing you there on Saturday!

    To all that braved today’s WOD way to go my feet are still a bit numb. Got cut off at 55min but 3 rounds then through the sit ups so 3 3/4. Hugs
