VERVE ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT – SYLVIA JURCIC

#1 – WHERE WERE YOU BORN? Oil City, PA
#2 – HOW DID YOU FIND CROSSFIT / CROSSFIT VERVE? My first experience with Crossfit was back when I lived in CA, my friend owned a gym out there. I then joined Crossfit Del Mar for a year or so then moved to Denver. Verve was the closest place to where I was living when I moved (Block 32!)
#3 – FAVORITE WORKOUT OR MOVEMENT / LEAST FAVORITE WORKOUT / MOVEMENT: Favorite workout is anything with Olympic lifts and rowing. Least favorite is anything with running. BUT I also have a new strong hatred for plate pushes and any warm up involving those dreaded orange lids. 
#4 – WHAT SONG HAVE YOU COMPLETELY MEMORIZED? There are so many….first one that came to mind is Ignition (Remix)
#5 – WHAT TAKES UP TOO MUCH OF YOUR TIME? Looking at Instagram 
#6 – WHAT ARE THE SMALL THINGS THAT MAKE YOUR DAY BETTER? Walking my dogs and making coffee 
#7 – IF YOU COULD TURN ANYTHING INTO AN OLYMPIC SPORT, WHAT WOULD YOU WIN A MEDAL AT?  Drunk texting  😂(far too many of us can relate)

– Paul Buono’s Nutrition Talk #2!!! Next Wednesday, October 25th @ 7:30pm.  Paul will build on some concepts from the first lecture and give information on more specific goals.
– Saturday, October 22nd @ 2pm.  Verve Broncos viewing party at El Jefe Denver!
